Whether it’s navigating divorce, resolving custody matters, or preparing for the future with an estate plan, every client receives honest advice, strategic representation, and human understanding. Clients never have to wonder what’s next, what something means, or whether they’re being heard—because they are.

Meet Attorney Jennifer Curtis

Two people reviewing paperwork in an office setting; one person pointing with a pen.

Jennifer Curtis leads JCurtis Law with a focused commitment to guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult legal transitions.

Her practice centers on family law, estate planning, and probate matters throughout Butler, Warren, and Hamilton Counties. Whether navigating a divorce, structuring a parenting plan, or helping a family settle an estate, Jennifer brings strategic clarity and steady advocacy to every case.

Experience That Shapes Perspective

Jennifer earned her law degree from Seattle University School of Law and began her legal career grounded in rigorous courtroom training. After stepping away from full-time practice to raise her family, she returned to the profession with renewed purpose and a deeper understanding of the real-world challenges her clients face.

That perspective matters.

Family law is rarely just legal. It is emotional, financial, and deeply personal. Jennifer approaches each case with the understanding that her clients are often navigating uncertainty, stress, and high stakes all at once.

Courtroom Strength Without Unnecessary Conflict

Jennifer is confident and prepared in the courtroom. She advocates firmly and strategically when litigation becomes necessary. Judges and opposing counsel recognize her for being articulate, direct, and well-prepared.

But her goal is not escalation for its own sake.

Her focus is always on:

  • Protecting her client’s long-term interests
  • Maintaining leverage through preparation
  • Avoiding unnecessary conflict when resolution is possible
  • Moving cases forward efficiently

As she often tells clients:

“Divorce is hard enough. Your attorney shouldn’t make it harder.”
